Swim Lessons

Payton has started taking swimming lessons again.  I am not really sure how it is going to go considering she spent the whole lesson crying and refusing to try anything they asked her to do.  This may be an adventure for us all.

On the other hand, Lincoln loved his "swim lessons" or open swimming after the lessons.  Ha! Ha!  He is fearless.

Olivia's Birthday Party

Today was Payton and Lincoln's friend Olivia's Birthday Party.

The kids had so much fun.  The party was at Pump It Up in Morgan Hill.  They seemed a little timid at first but were soon running all over the place and trying out all the bouncing activities.  This place is definately a great place for kids to burn a lot of energy.  Ha! Ha!

I think one of my favorite moments was watching Payton at the obstical course.  She refused to go on it at first, even with Dave going in to help.  She was totally content waiting by the exit with me.  Then when Lincoln came down the slide at the end with a big smile on his face it was like she decided she had to see what that was all about.  She loved it!  Even ended up being able to do all the obsticals by herself in the end.

Creative?

Payton has been wanting to have "school" for the last couple of days.  She loves learning to write and everything else.

Today we decided to make letters out of cereal.  Ha!  Ha!  She loved it and Lincoln couldn't have cared less.  Probably still wasn't feeling all that well.

Oh and she also did some math with her cereal bites.  Adding and subtracting.  She is so smart!

Lincoln is sick

I know!  Lincoln is sick again!  The poor kid can't catch a break.

I can't get over how fast it hits too.  We went to a play date and then went over to my mom's house to visit for a little while.  He was playing with the toys one minute and then acting so strange the next.

When we got home he begged to take a nap.  He slept for a good three hours and when he got up just came out into the living room and layed down on the floor.  After about 30 minutes he got up and went back to his room and crawled back into bed.  I knew he wasn't feeling good but he had no fever.  I followed him back to his room and hung out for about an hour in there with him.

Dave got home and walked back to the room to find Lincoln curled up in bed, me sitting on the floor leaning against his bed, and Payton playing with the Mr. Potato Head.  I don't think he had even stepped into the room when Lincoln got up on his hands and knees and threw up over my shoulder.  Eeww!

Welcome Home Daddy!

Saturday!

I love Saturdays.  I especially love Saturdays when we all get to stay home and hang out together.

The kids decided to help daddy wash the car today.  Payton actually did a pretty good job of helping but then there was Lincoln trying to help with a squeegy.  Ha! Ha!

When it came time for the final rinse Dave let Payton run the hose.  She was so excited!  So excited that when she turned to say something to me she turned her whole body and rinsed Dave off as well.  I am still laughing thinking about it.  LOL
