Cartwheels

Payton is loving gymnastics.  I love that she loves it.

She is so excited to learn.  She wants to be able to do a cartwheel so bad.  Today one of the lead instructors was teaching a new instructor how to coach a child through doing a cartwheel.  Payton was one of the kids they chose to be an example for the new coach.  She was so excited, this was perfect because she has been working so hard to get the hang of it.  They worked with her for about 5 to 10 minutes.  The one on one instruction was great, she still can't so a cartwheel by herself but she is definitely getting the feel for it.

Bravery

My little boy is so brave, every time we go to gymnastics he surprises me with doing something new.  This week he attempted doing a seat drop by himself.  It was awesome!  He has never jumped off the mat before without holding someone's hand and today he went for it.  Very exciting!

Payton's First Day of Gymnastics

Payton has been asking and asking to start gymnastics since she watched Lincoln in his gymnastics program.  Today was her first day.  She did so well.  I was afraid that she would be nervous or afraid to try doing forward rolls or cartwheels but that was not the case at all.  I was having such a good time watching her.  I hope she continues to like it.

Gymnastics and Adventure Hour

Lincoln and Austin have start taking gymnastics and they love it.  Lincoln is in a beginner class and Austin and I are taking a Mommy and Me class.  Schedule wise it is great because their classes are at the same time.  But mommy wise it is hard to watch Lincoln and see how he is doing because I am in a class with Austin.

Well, today Austin is under the weather so he stayed home and I brought Lincoln to class.  It was fun to get to watch him and take pictures. 

Payton was out of school today so she came with me and we stayed for Adventure Hour after Lincoln's class.  She wants to take gymnastics so bad.  They had such a good time playing at the gym.  I love their facial expressions.
