Frozen Viewing II

We planned a Frozen Viewing Party with a few of our friends from church and their families.  My friend Ela has a great space in her house to project the movie really big on a screen.  It was awesome!

Ela's daughter had just had a Frozen themed birthday party the night before so the house was decorated really fun and she had lots of left over desserts, which was a bonus for us. :o)

We also planned a pasta bar potluck which was delicious.  If you haven't tried a tomato based sauce mixed with a touch a alfredo you have no idea what you are missing.  Yummy!

I wish I would have thought to take more pictures but it totally slipped my mind.  It was a really nice evening.

Frozen Viewing

Frozen came out digitally this week and we decided to have a little Frozen Viewing Party with a couple of Payton's school friends, Riya and Dorie.

We had pizza for dinner and some fun movie snacks to munch on while watching the movie.  The girls AND boys had a lot of fun.  Lots and lots of giggles happening in our house tonight.  Love it!

There was a show both on screen and in our family room with the girls jumping up to sing and dance with each song.  They are so cute!

Lunch and a Movie

Our friend Jenae invited us to meet them at the movies to see Turbo this afternoon.  I was a bit skeptical of the movie but we all really liked it. 

Austin lasted probably 2/3 of the movie in my lap and then wanted down.  I spent the last 1/3 of the movie following him up and down the side isle.  I am pretty sure he ate some popcorn off of the floor.  Yuck!  He was filthy by the end of the movie but was having a great time and that is what matters, right?

After the movie the kids were "starving" so we walked next door to Burger King where they ate nothing.  Yup, ordered them all what they wanted and Payton and Lincoln ate nothing.  Oh well.
At least, Austin ate well.

Breaking Dawn

I swear everytime that another movie of the Twilight series is released that I am not going to the midnight showing and every time I find myself sitting for hours in line or in a movie theater waiting for midnight to roll around.  :o)

This time was no different.  Ashley showed up to the theater at around 7:30 to get in line with a plan that the rest of us would meet up with her a little later.  They ended up letting her in to the theater around 8.  Fortunately, they didn't start commenting on people saving seats until we all walked in the door.  Whew!

We kept ourselves entertained by reading, taking pictures of ourselves, doing each others hair, and watching Anthony jungle.  Ha! Ha!

The movie was good.  I think it was the best so far.
