The plan...
Make placemats from ice cream die cuts. This is one of those activities that I just need to step away and let the kids do their own thing. I try to make mine all nice looking and all Lincoln wants to do is use the glue stick as chapstick. Ha! Ha!
Taste test. Can you tell what flavor of ice cream this is? This activity went over a little better than pin the ice cream on the cone. However, I think it is just because they got to eat ice cream. :o)
Build your own ice cream sundae. This was my personal favorite because I love ice cream. Yummy! I think the kids (and mommies) liked it too. We had three flavors of ice cream to chose from and a bunch of different toppings. Payton loved getting to make her sundae herself. I must have went over board with getting ice cream and toppings because I had A LOT left over. I can tell that this is not going to be good for my waist line.
Lincoln has a sweet tooth. What kid doesn't? Ha! Ha! I caught him climbing onto the counter sneaking the candy toppings. So I did what any good mother would do...took and picture and then told him to get down. :D
I also decided to make little favors for our party. It was a paper cone with "Sprinkled with Fun" written on it. Everyone got to fill their own with different candies. I know. I know. Who's birthday was it again. Yup, no one's. Just did it for the fun of it.

I love doing things just for the fun of it! It was a fun playdate!
