Payton and Lincoln have no real interest in going anywhere near the water so we spent the majority of the day digging in the sand, finding rocks and other treasures, and talking about making sand castles. Dave did manage to get Payton into the water up to her knees, which lasted about one minute. Evidently Lincoln does not like the feel of the sand between his toes, anytime he wanted to move to a different location he would take one or two steps then beg someone to carry him. We just love the beach, can’t you tell. Ha! Ha!
Now Ash and Steven are quite a different story. They started off the day catching a bunch of sand crabs for the kiddos to look at, went body boarding and had to get pulled in by a lifeguard (dang current), and finished up the day tanning on the beach.About four o’clock we headed back to the condo and made a short pit stop at the pool. I am so glad we got those puddle jumpers for the kids. Linc is still a little too small for his but Ethan sure enjoyed it. Payton and Ethan paddled all over the pool for at least an hour.
Bathed the kids at the outdoor shower by the pool and they thought that was the coolest thing ever.Early night, for tomorrow we go to Disneyland! Yay!
